CATH•SECURE® 2.0

The CATH•SECURE 2.0, from the M.C. Johnson Company, is a Foley catheter stabilization device designed to help provide secure placement, reliable performance, and improved patient comfort. Designed with patient safety in the mind, the device features two stabilizing pins which limit the rotation of the Foley tube to 180 degrees. Most devices on the market allow for 360 degree rotation, which in some cases, have caused Foley occlusion (or kinking), resulting in injury to the patient.

The device also features an improved clamp design, making it easy for clinicians to access the Foley without the risk of tearing or cutting their gloves, saving time and money. Easy to adjust and apply, the device may remain in place for approximately one week without altering skin integrity.
